Plan Your Visit
The Maltese-Canadian Museum welcomes visitors by appointment for guided visits, community research, educational programming, and opportunities to learn more about the stories preserved in our collection.
Open by Appointment Only
To help us provide a thoughtful and welcoming experience, visits to the Maltese-Canadian Museum are arranged in advance with our volunteers' schedules. Appointments allow our volunteers and staff to prepare for your interests, whether you are exploring family history, learning about Maltese history, researching community archives, or introducing younger generations to Maltese heritage.
We are happy to hear from individuals, families, community groups, students, researchers, and organisations interested in Maltese-Canadian history and culture.
Request an AppointmentHow to Visit
Send us an email with your preferred date, number of visitors, and the reason for your visit. This helps us prepare the most useful and welcoming experience possible.
A museum representative will follow up to confirm availability, timing, access details, and any special interests or needs connected to your visit.
During your appointment, you will have the opportunity to learn about Maltese-Canadian heritage, explore selected materials, and connect with the stories of the community.
Community Visits
Discover objects, photographs, and stories that speak to Maltese life in Canada, from migration and settlement to faith, language, work, celebration and community memory.
Research Visits
Researchers are encouraged to contact the Museum in advance with a description of their topic. This allows us to identify relevant materials and determine whether an appointment can support the research request.
Group Visits
We welcome enquiries from educators, cultural organisations, heritage groups, and community associations interested in Maltese-Canadian history, migration, identity, and cultural heritage.
